Moonee Valley
Exclusive Report 21st June
Form Guides (RSB)
Race 4: 3-2-1

Good win by Behold last start and he has raced really well at Moonnee Valley before he is the one I like in this. Sylvan Court continues to run well, up in the weights but I don't really rate those down in the weights so she can figure again. Johnny Knovxville another who appreciates an affected surface and the Moonee Valley surrounds, he's third best.
Race 5: 7-9-2-1

Hidden Energy a little gem that I found a few weeks ago has really gone on with it, and if it handles the Valley it's going to be very hard to beat. I think it and Sanpan look to have a good edge over the quality up in the weights and one of them will surely salute in this. Her run last start had merit. Perfect Feeling is ready to show something now and is third best just ahead of Just Curious who looked fabulous last start but has come to the Valley in form before and failed and that sticks out in my mind. Too good to totally dismiss though.
Race 6: 6-12-10-13
This race is so open its almost ridiculous. Nothing really sticks out and I reckon 10 of them will finish within two lengths of the winner it's that hard. Sticking with Not A Copy just because those that I have selected 2,3, and 4 are more place chances. Excellent run last time and just seems to keep coming up and hasn't been slaughtered at the weights. Go down in the weights to find the value with Snappy Tom who has a had encouraging run back and races really well here and races with a featherweight. Prepared to overlook Pinprick's heavy run failure last time and Creek Side first up and track statistics are hard to ignore and there's no superstars here.
Race 7: 4-3-10-6

Clavillo has had the cleanouts it needs, races at a track it loves and fires at and only has 56kg. He is the top rater here. Archie Senior is another who seems to save his best for this track and I expect to be really hard to beat in this. Redhead Rage is the one to watch from the bottomwieghts not sure if barrier three is favourable, and Caprizzi Strip will be in it for along way. Sneak Gunfire into your quaddies as well.
Race 8: 4-3-11

Couple of horses that have been following on the provincial circuit bob up here in a relatively moderate race. I think I would be more confident if the race was at Flemington or Sandown but still prepared to tip them. Pass Me By is the top rater. Excellent third last start, ran away from the good part of the track at Swan Hill and beat all those who came down the outside. Looks a racehorse and will be in this for along way. Oak Heart is second best following a thumping win last start. A stayer with potential might start putting it together. Then Skybee. Just couldn't get the right run in the ruck last start but still finished off well. Barrier one doesn't look to be that flash but if she can find a path she will be really strong at the finish.
Eagle Farm: Race 7 Winter Stakes.

Think you can nail the Winter Stakes. Just back Absolut Glam and Vietnam straighout and you will profit. Absolut Glam was a huge fourth last start in the Stradbroke after being no closer than four wide the trip. Vietnam has a few tricks but when she gets her way she looks fabulous. Definite threat.
