Swan Hill Friday
Race 10: 7-10

Pass Me By caught the eye last start and I thought he could win at good eachway odds in the last at Swan Hill Today. Looked really good last start is favoured by an inside draw as it always plays to horses up on the speed and on the fence at Swan Hill. If he can't get the right run look for Karimabad as a good saver. Had to make a run from a long way back last start and hit the line like a train. One of the two should win I favour Pass Me By.
Flemington
Race 4: 8-6-1-3

With a firmer bigger track and hopefully a more intelligent ride I'm going for Light Vision again. Looked to be too good on paper last start but was ridden on the worst part of the track and was beaten by a hurdler to highlight the influence of race position. This is not strong again. Worth another chance, should get a good run off leaders Saliente and Electronic Million who will dominate the race up front. I've gone for Emerald Jack as next best because of the class factor, and Post Tyhme as she will appreciate the wide open spaces of Flemington and she looks like getting 2000m, down in the weights.
Race 5: 3-2-6

I think there are three standouts in this, and from there I have come up with Beaming again. She thrashed her rivals last start from a relatively awkward position in the straight. I'm tipping because of recent racing here they will go down the outside. Red Element will be a great horse for Beaming to track from her wide draw. Expect him to open things up in the lead and for those tracking to get there chance, that's where I see Beaming coming from. I think she will just be too good for the high quality Red Element. Third best is Orytaga who will appreciate the step up in distance and I view him as clearly third best.
Race 6: 1-12-8
Again class is the factor I favour in this and though the 58kg is some test I think the big O'Reilly's Clock can handle it and win the race. The track not being a bog, the fact that its Flemington and the class edge I think O'Reillys carries suggests if he's left alone in betting his worth a ticket. Saves his best work for big tracks and I like him from no 14 Golden Papillionfor a bit of value. Will probably go back from the draw if they think there is speed in the race. This is quite a weak race and she's really capable of figuring. Giving Roman's Image another chance his third best.
Race 7: 6-10-4

I must be on drugs tipping this but I think Lancet could suprise here at odds and should be throw n in your jackpot quaddies etc. He won the Wangoom which is no mean feat, but I like where he's drawn as he will get one run at them from barrier one, as they are likely to come up the middle or down the outside. Think he can tag along and keep going. Bingham I think should be included in your thoughts has that ability to blouse at the death at the will be important in a relatively slowly run race. Innovation I've put in as next best but with no great confidence.
Race 8: 14-15-2-4

Liked the zooming effort of Persian Star last start. Absolutely opened up on the last time and competed well with the promising Darcarwasha the start prior. Those up in the weights aren't that special and if ridden well this little horse can power away from these. Selecting the improving Prominent as next best. He's been running some good races behind some talented provincial ones then just dominated last start when stepped up in distance and had a firmer track to contend with. He's right in this then Raeburn and Last Drop who look the best of those up in the weights. Freedman is getting the best out of Raeburn at the minute and will be saved for one crack at them, and Last Drop looks to have some staying promise.
Eagle Farm
Race 6: 7-18-1

I think Moatize is probably the best horse to back on the weekend. He's a cut above his rivals and will prove it in the QLd Derby. Not suited last start around the tighter Doomben circuit he was set alight before the turn and not suprisingly it took a little bit out of him right on the line. He will be patiently ridden here, and the big horse will not be asked to do much until they straighten. And then he can really let rip. I let him go at Doomben as I was waiting for the big horse to get to Eagle Farm and here he is. He hasn't been missed thus far in early markets but I've got a feeling he should pay ok either best tote or best fluc. I'm making him a best bet. Riva San last weeks winner I think will be the hardest to beat just in front of Mission Critical.
Race 7: 12-18-10-19

First thing I will say here as after a week's racing and going on history don't worry too much about the extreme wide barriers in the Stradbroke. I remember a year where the three outside barriers filled the first three placings. In saying that I have used the barrier draw as the decider on my order of selections, however I think all four selections can win and a clear standouts on the rest of the field. The winner will come from these four...Vormista, El Cambio, Absolut Glam and Pinnacles. I like the odds of all these two and there's money to be made on this race. Selecting Vormista on top. Forgive last start had to work three deep in a race where nothing got near Apache Cat who got all the favours and absolutely flew. I suggested before she would be no hope in that race but on the bigger Eagle Farm and drawn a great barrier in five. Steve King will just keep it out of trouble and look to make one run at them in the straight. Think she can win, from El Cambio who Im not sure will get in the run. But whatever happens he will be good enough to make his presence felt. Pinnacles I marked as next best just because he might get a great run from one, with Omnitrader likely to run them along. And then Absolut Glam who I rate as a winning chance despite making her fourth best. Unluckly last start much better suited here.
